Good Help . . .

. . . is not so hard to find around our place.

When we got back from vacation yesterday, I was unpacking the cooler, and Big Dan gave me a paw. Good Help

He’s obsessed with water! When I finally managed to extricate the Gatorade bottles out from under him, I put his jingle ball in there, hoping it would float (it didn’t). By the time he was done playing, he had all four legs wet halfway up and was having a grand time! The kitchen floor was covered with splatters from him flinging it everywhere, but I let him have his fun, and then cleaned up after him.

It’s like having kids again — every time I went to the studio (where animals are not allowed) he cried and cried at the door until I took pity on him and finally took some handwork to the living room so he would quit! I can’t blame him — he must have really missed us while we were gone.

You can see pictures of some of our other helpers here: Prairie Moon Ranch. We’ve no shortage of willing hands around our place.
