QQB Time

Last night was our QQB meeting

Which means . . . it was confession time . . . for The List.

As difficult as it is for me to believe, I actually completed everything I said I’d do! That does not happen very often! I must be getting a bit more realistic about what I can actually get done between meetings. We did have a bit of extra time between last meeting and this one, but our next meeting is now only 28 days away, so I really need to get crackin’ on the next list already. Once I get going, I’ll try to post some pictures of what I’m working on . . .

The QQB CookbookThe hostess this time was Rose Marie, and we had a wonderful supper. The QQB has a “traveling cookbook”, and we try to fix at least one recipe for each other from the book every time. Our cookbook is “Favorite Recipes from Quilters” by Louise Stoltzfus. Rose Marie picked a recipe called “Italian Peach Pie”, and wow! — it was fabulous! (I ate two pieces.)

If you haven’t seen this cookbook, you really should try to get your hands on a copy. The recipes are quick and easy, so you don’t waste any quilting time cooking!
