Susan’s Request

Susan’s Friday Favorites post this week is a request to remember those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attack of 2001, and to also remember and pray for all those whose lives were affected by these attacks. I dare say we were all affected in some way by the attacks, and it is one of those events that leaves a mark on your heart and mind forever — an event which continually brings back the memory of exactly where you were and what you were doing the moment you first heard about it.

I can certainly remember that, in the Midwest, where I was, it was the most beautiful clear day with the most awesome blue sky up above that you can imagine. Being so far removed from the horror of the actual events, it felt very strange to be where I was and yet see what was happening to other Americans. The images on TV and on the internet seemed (and still seem) so unreal and so unimaginable.

Susan is right: We Must Never Forget . . .
