Design Wall Monday – May 17

I haven’t participated in awhile. It’s either because there hasn’t been anything on my wall, or the wall has had something on it that I can’t show right now. I can’t reveal my Patriotic challenge until July, and then only if I get it finished — and that’s looking kind of iffy at this point . . . as usual, I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.

But here’s what’s on my design wall today. It’s all my blocks from the Hazel’s Diary Quilt-Along. I know this may come as a jolt to all of you who are participating in this Quilt-Along, but I’ll confess right now — I’m making this quilt right along with you, and I have no idea how my own is going to turn out. Does that instill any extra faith in me? Didn’t think so . . .

After seeing all the blocks in the Flickr Group, I was anxious to see all of mine together, so I stuck up the ones I have finished so far, and I’m still liking them . . . I hope that feeling holds. We’re only halfway there. In fact, I’m getting downright excited to see all these quilts finished.

The Quilt-Along is up to 48 participants now, some of whom have only just joined. If you’re interested, too, it’s never too late. It won’t take you long to catch up, I promise! And we have give-aways quite regularly . . . and other tidbits. C’mon! You can handle it — it’s only one more UFO!

And you can also go check out what others are doing over at JudyL’s. Design Wall Mondays are always an inspiring show . . .

  3. very pretty, love the fabrics!

  4. I don’t know about confidence or lack of confidence, but I am impressed. Without skills much better than I have I would never dare that. You get credit for skill and bravery.

  5. Very nice colors; great job! I especially like that there is a variety of blocks!
