QA Report #26

I tried to pay attention this week to what I said I was going to do.

I have been working on my Patriotic Challenge piece. I did some more cutting. Here’s the pieces I’ve been sewing on:

And the pieces I’ve cut:

See — photographic evidence this time! I still have a lot more cutting and sewing to do. I’m really glad the deadline was extended, or I’d be in serious trouble!

As for the stash, 14 more yards, and I’ll be back in the black, provided I can keep from bringing any more fabric in. I’ve been trying hard to think of what I can use 14 yards on. Backing would be the most productive way, but you know me — instead I just started a new quilt. I may even start another one before the week is out! I need to use 14 yards — how else am I going to do it?

Go see what everyone else is doing over at Bari’s . . .

  1. I can’t wait to see what you do with your Patriotic pieces and blocks. I’ve been helping with baby. While rocking, I have lots of ideas going around in my head. I love seeing what you are doing!

  2. I agree – I want to see your challenge! VBG! You are always so busy and so productive, I don’t even know why you worry (except we do!).

I love your blog – it makes me laugh!

  3. I can’t fully reveal it until after our August 21st guild meeting, when the challenges are officially unveiled, but as soon as I can, I’ll post a full picture of it. Mainly because if I manage to finish it, I’ll be so proud of it, I can’t wait to show everyone!

  4. Photographic evidence eh? Love it!!!
