Avenue of Flags

I’m working at the quilt shop in Mexico, MO, today.

To get there, I’ll be driving through Centralia, MO.

And driving through Centralia on Veteran’s Day is going to be an awe-inspiring sight.

Centralia has a cemetery right along the highway, and on every holiday, they put out the Avenue of Flags.

It’s so beautiful.

If you ever get the chance, you should make the trip to see it.

You can read more about it here: Avenue of Flags.

And don’t forget to thank a Veteran today!

  1. What an awesome sight that would be. Yeah Vets. My husband is one, so he’s trying to take it easy today. He believes all Vets should have the day off. I agree.
