Merry Christmas Eve!

I hope your day is going wonderfully.

Here’s what I’m doing with mine . . .

* I slept in because we got too much snow, so the roads were too bad to go visit the Outlaws

* It’s my brother’s birthday, so I texted him Happy Birthday. I don’t think he knows how to reply to a text message.

* I drank some eggnog . . .

* I’m putting the binding on a quilt that’s meant to be a Christmas present.

* I drank some more eggnog . . .

* I listened to old 70s tunes over the internet with My Cowboy . . .

* And laughed hysterically over them!

* I drank even more eggnog!

* I want to bake something, but probably won’t.

* I want to go outside for a bit in the snow, but probably won’t.

* I want to drink some more eggnog, and probably will . . .

Have a very merry wonderful Christmas Eve, everyone! And don’t forget to leave cookies and milk for Santa . . .

  1. Sounds like fun! Merry Christmas, and drink some eggnog for me (I don’t like it much!). We had our Christmas with the family last weekend, so it’s quiet here today. I’m crocheting a wool diaper cover for our grandson due Jan. 7, and we’ll go to church this evening. We became engaged 39 years ago tonight, so we may have a glass of wine later to celebrate!

  2. Merry Christmas to you too!

  3. Merry Christmas to you, too. The cookies and milk are already laid out for Santa. Elsa has been working on that for two days. Took a lot to convince her the milk would go bad if she put it out too early…and she didn’t want Santa sick! I slept really late, read blogs, cleaned, played with Elsa a bit, went to the store, drank some Bailey’s (my much preferred drink to eggnog), cleaned some more (for house guests tomorrow), watched movies, etc. Soon, Elsa’s off to bed, and Santa has to wrap presents and set up. Have a wonderful Christmas!

  4. Merry Christmas my friend! and to the cowboy! see you in 2011! hugs!

  5. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

  6. *Lifting my cup of hot coffee to your glass of eggnog this morning*
