2011 Final Countdown

It’s time again.

Time for this year’s Final Countdown.

If you’ve been with me the last couple years, this is the 3rd annual . . .

It’s my way of getting a fresh start on the New Year, and I really do enjoy dragging you all in on it with me!

If you’d like to see what we did for last year’s Final Countdown tasks, here are the links:

This will give you an idea of what it’s like and what we’ll be doing. I might repeat some of the tasks, or dream up something totally new — you’ll just have to check back to find out! (You can also visit the December 2009 archives — in the sidebar, below right — to see what we did the year before that, if you wish.)

This year’s Final Countdown starts tomorrow. Here’s how it works:

* Each day, for the next 3 days, I’ll assign you a task.

* Your job is to do the task.

* When you’ve done the task, comment on that day’s post, and either link to a blog post you’ve written about it, or just leave a comment telling us all how you did. You can comment on each day’s post, as you do each task. Even if you don’t do the task, you can still comment for a chance at the prizes.

* You have until noon, January 5th, 2012, to complete all the tasks, and leave your comments. At that time, I will draw one prize for each task from the comments left on each task’s post. That’s three winners.

So . . . check back tomorrow, when your first task will be assigned. And yes, just like usual, I’ll be doing these right alongside you (or will have already done them so I can give you inspiring examples — haha).

Are you in?

Ready to get a fresh start on 2012?

See you tomorrow, then . . .

  1. Happy Holidays!!!! This sounds like it could be fun, I was planning on spending the majority of the week in my sewing area anyway so why not join in!!!

    See you tomorrow!

  2. I’m in. It was a great boost last year. Get 2012 started right!

  3. Too funny, I almost e-mailed you this morning asking if you were going to do this again. I was trying to dig out the cutting table at the time. I’m in!

  4. I will try it again this year! Sounds like fun!
