It’s HOT out there!

Even my kitten Gidget thinks so, and is trying everything to get cooled off . . . is this funny or what?

It was stifling hot out the last two days. We had some crazy thunderstorms last night that cooled things down a bit, not that we needed any more rain . . . but hey, it’s weather . . . we don’t get to choose it.

It’s definitely too hot to sit under a quilt to work on it, so I haven’t been doing much hand work. I have a whole stack of quilts that need the bindings stitched down on the back, but whew! — it’s just too hot for that! So in true butterfly style (since it is summer), I’ve been flitting from UFO to UFO. Hopefully soon, something will “come out of the hopper”, as my friend would say.
